Mohammad Irman Suriadi was born in August 23rd, 1989, in a small sunny island, Singapore. Since the day he first cried at Alexandra Hospital,
he grew up in a hometown in Redhill with his late Granddy and Grandma on his paternal side. Like any other kids here in Sg, i have to attend
those pre-primary school known as kindergarten.
At six, he completed
his two years(1993-1995) of kindergarten and then moved on to Tanglin Primary School, which was already been demolished due to the upgrading of a new
school and now been replaced by New Town Primary School. He spent six years of his primary school days living with his Grandma and Late Granddy
on the maternal side in Tanglin Halt(1996-2001). After his Primary level, he got promoted to Shuqun Secondary located at Jurong East.(2002-2007)
By then, he already been with
his parents of 2 in Jurong, together with his elder brother and sister. Five years went by, landed himself in Ite Dover and currently still waiting
to know what is up next for him... (2007- )
How he came about into pursuing photography as his hobby?
Well, his first touch on his Sis's Nikon Dslr changed his world. Loving each and every snaps from it, got him craving for one.
The idea of film always seemed costly, and the waiting game didn't appeal me much. I got my first DSLR in early July 2008, and
a few trusty lenses to go with it, as an early birthday present. From that day onwards, he tried 'exploring' his weapon, till
what he is today. 2009, year for
Landscapes. This site is a result of the experiments i have done and a medium to showcase and get feedback so that i can improve and go forward.

My First Photo Award!

First and foremost, i would like to thank the shop
owner for giving me the permission to shoot at his
place. Next is FAIZAL and ASRUL!!! And all who had
made this possible.
For those of you who don't know, this is a Canon
organized photo taking competiton which was held
yesterday at Suntec City. Woke up as early as 6am
for not wanting to be late for the registration.
Collect the shirt and drink and off to change clothes.
At about 1.3k people took part. And soon a group photos.
9.20am, first assignment given were titled, 'Change'.
We were given 3.5hrs to snap our desired photo and come
back at 12.50pm. Met Bro Faizal at the convection hall, and
so he decided to join us. We then set off to long john silvers
for breakfast. Soon while eating, ideas and more ideas running
in my mind like, find a girl who's willing to sacrifice her
hair, my idea was to cut half of it and stay long on the other
and she'll pose wit a scissors as if she has cut the half.
And while looking at the menu at ljs, why not wait for the crews
to change its menu from morning to afternoon and snap one while
they were changing it.
Then, Joo Chiat's Barber struck my mind. Its shop named, 'Boyz to Men'.
So i see myself there, waiting and shoot a lil boy walking in the barbershop.
But in the actual scene, no one was there. Faizal gave me some ideas
of he becoming a client, and Asrul the barber. And so, i kept
shooting them. And off we go hunting for Asrul and Faizal's photo.
12.30pm, reached suntec. The queue was so looooooooong i put extra o's in it.
By that time, we were alrdy tired. Submitted, wait for the next theme.
And so it was 'Dreams'. And again, 3.5hrs back and lastly, 'Freedom'.
As we got back, i saw 2 of my photo on the wall. Not sure what it means
though. An Uncle told me it was just random photo. So okay. We sat, and chilled.
Get a free Redbull and an A4 print of any photo we want.
At about 10.30pm, results were announced. And so i won 3rd for Student
category, theme 'Change'. I was so PROUD!!! Nikon user ayy...
Prizes that i won: Gorillapod, ipod nano, memory card, selphy printer
AANNNNNNDDD Canon POWERSHOT G10!!! The newest compact camera in town!!
I've calculated, all of these costs more than $1.5k at least. I would
like to thank Faizal and Asrul once again for making this happen. ((((:
